Independence Bowl and Colonial Supplemental Insurance Partner for
School FUNdraiser

Shreveport, La. - The Independence Bowl Foundation has partnered with Colonial Supplemental Insurance along with Caddo and Bossier Parish Schools on a program specifically designed to benefit area schools.

This program will provide an opportunity for various school organizations to raise funds that will further enhance the school’s educational experience.

A block of tickets to the 2006 PetroSun Independence Bowl on Dec. 28 has been made available at a cost of $30 per ticket to school organizations participating in the Colonial Supplemental Insurance School FUNdraiser. For each $30 ticket sold, $5 will be retained by the participating school organization.

All tickets sold by each participating organization will be issued together in a block, and seat locations will be determined at least six weeks prior to the game. The FUNdraiser campaign runs Sept. 1 through Oct. 27. Each organization will be responsible for the sale and collection of all monies and for the distribution of game tickets.

Information packets for the campaign are given out through area school administrators.
