MISSY SETTERS,
Executive Director
Missy Setters joined the I-Bowl staff in 1996, serving as Media Relations
Director and then in 2003 was promoted to Assistant Executive Director for
Media Relations. Prior to that she served six years in the LSU Sports Information
Department, most recently as publications director and then as Media Relations
Director with the Shreveport Pirates of the CFL. She was a four-year letterwinner
on the LSU women’s golf team. Missy is married to Ross Setters, a
former LSU offensive lineman, and they have one daughter, Codi (8).

JEFF DITTMER, Assistant
Executive Director for Sales
Jeff Dittmer
joined the staff on a full-time basis in August of 2003. Prior to that he
served as an intern from August of 2002 to January of 2003. He earned a
Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis on Sport Administration
from Wayne State College in May of 2003. Prior to that he earned an A.A.
degree in Business Administration from Northeast Community College in Norfolk,
Nebraska. Jeff’s previous work experiences in the sport and recreation
field came as the Director of Land Sports for Kamp Kohut in 1999 and as
an intern at the Norfolk Family YMCA. Jeff is married to the former Michele
Schmidt. They have one daughter, McKenzie (1).

AMY O'CALLAGHAN,
Assistant Executive Director - Events & Operations
Amy joined the Independence Bowl staff in February of 2004. She serves as
Director of Events and Operations, and brings with her a wealth of experience
gained while working in the New Orleans Sports Foundation. Her experience
spans Super Bowls, Final Fours and the New Orleans Bowl. Amy serves as the
staff liaison for the bowl’s committee chairs, and with the local
hotel community. Amy is married to Brady O’Callaghan, an Assistant
District Attorney for Caddo Parish. They have twin boys, Marshall and Logan
(12 months).

JOHN
CORDARO, Assistant Executive Director - Ticketing & Business Ops.
John Cordaro rejoined the Independence Bowl staff in August of 2005, as
Ticketing/Business Operations Director. John most recently served as a Business
Payroll Sales Specialist with Wells Fargo Bank in Houston. Prior to his
time with Wells Fargo, Cordaro worked internships with the Houston Texans
and the Independence Bowl. During his time with the Texans, John worked
primarily with ticket sates and gameday operations. While with the Independence
Bowl, he served as a sales representative, focusing primarily on sponsorships,
signage and group ticket sales. Cordaro is a 2002 graduate of Louisiana
Tech. John is married to the former Laura Russell of Houston and they are
expecting their first child in May.

PATRICK
MEEHAN, Media Relations Director
Patrick Meehan joined the Independence Bowl staff as the Media Relations
Assistant in 2005. Patrick is a 2004 graduate of LSU, and most recently
served as media relations assistant at UAB. Prior to joining the Independence
Bowl Meehan served four years as a student assistant in the Sports Information
Department at LSU in Baton Rouge. He covered a variety of sports including
men’s golf, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and
women’s soccer. Patrick also served as the secondary contact for the
LSU baseball team. Meehan has also worked numerous NCAA regional and national
events, and was a member of the 2005 Nokia Sugar Bowl media relations staff.
Meehan is married to the former Lanie Freeman.

ADAM CHOATE,
Sponsorships/Events
Adam Choate joined the PetroSun Independence Bowl Staff on a full-time basis
in March of this year and serves in the area of sponsorships and events.
Choate, a 2005 graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Business Management
and Entrepreneurship, is a Shreveport native. In August of last year (2006),
Choate obtained his Master’s degree from Louisiana Tech in Business
Administration (MBA), while working for the schools athletic department.
During his time at Tech, Choate also worked at Squire Creek Country Club,
as well as game operations for the Bossier City Battle Wings. Choate began
his internship with the bowl in the fall of 2006 as he served as a liaison
for the bowl’s title sponsor, PetroSun, and was employed by Tigris
Sponsorship and Marketing.

DEBORAH MCCOY, Receptionist/Administrative
Asst.
Deborah McCoy joined the Independence Bowl staff on a full-time basis in
September of 2005. Prior to that she worked as a part-timer for the Bowl
the past three seasons, and has 15 years of experience in outside sales.
Deborah earned her Associates Degree in general studies from Bossier Parish
Community College. A Dallas native, McCoy now resides in Benton, La with
her husband, Col. J.D. McCoy (retired). They own a farming business in Van
Wert, Ohio, growing popcorn and soybeans. Deborah and J.D. have four children
and four grandchildren, and have traveled extensively throughout Europe
and the Middle East.
