ON THE INDY BOWL” RADIO SHOW TO HIT THE AIR ON AUGUST 18

Shreveport, La. – “Eye on the Indy Bowl presented by
Jerry Anderson State Farm” will begin airing Saturday, August 18 from
noon-1 p.m. live on Supertalk 1340 KRMD-AM from the Cumulus Broadcast Center
located at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City.
The one-hour preseason special on Aug. 18 kicks off a string of 21 shows that
will run throughout football season, finishing up on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008,
just two days prior to the BCS national championship game. A second preseason
special will air on Aug. 25 at noon. The first two shows will be a look back
at the 2006 PetroSun Independence Bowl, with discussion of current news surrounding
the bowl itself and the Independence Bowl Foundation, along with a preview
of the upcoming college football season.
Jeff Dittmer and Patrick Meehan of the PetroSun Independence Bowl will serve
as co-hosts for the show. Independence Bowl officials and special guests will
join the pair throughout the football season.
Each week, Dittmer and Meehan will bring you the latest scores of top 25 games.
They will also focus on both conferences aligned with the PetroSun Independence
Bowl- the Big 12 and the SEC, as well as highlighting area colleges and universities.
The pair will also give ticket information, conduct interviews with key bowl
personnel, and inform fans as to what teams the bowl is considering for the
2007 game, as well as highlighting the overall bowl picture as the season
progresses.
The show will air from noon-1 p.m. each Saturday unless there is a conflict
with Tulane football. If a conflict arises, air time for “Eye on the

The 2007 PetroSun Independence Bowl will kickoff in primetime at 7 p.m. on
Sunday, Dec. 30 from Independence Stadium and will be nationally televised
