PetroSun Independence Bowl Ticket Renewals Start Going Out

Shreveport, La. – The ticket renewal mailout has begun for the 2007 PetroSun Independence Bowl and all ticket holders should receive their renewal forms within the next two weeks.
 
Ticket renewal forms are being mailed out in alphabetical order and started going out March 8. Everyone who purchased tickets to last year’s PetroSun Independence Bowl will receive a ticket renewal form. Anyone who does not receive their renewal invoice should contact the bowl office at 318.221.0712 or 888.414.2695 (BOWL). New ticket orders can also be placed by calling the bowl office. Seat locations on all new orders will be assigned once the renewal deadline has passed.
 
The deadline for payment on all renewals is May 4, 2007. The 2007 PetroSun Independence Bowl will once again feature teams from the Big 12 and SEC and will be played on Sunday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. at Independence Stadium and will be televised nationally on ESPN. Oklahoma State defeated Alabama, 34-31, in the 2006 PetroSun Independence Bowl.
 
Ticket holders will also receive information regarding the “Family FUN PACK,” which is the PetroSun Independence Bowl’s newest ticket initiative. The “Family FUN PACK” includes four south end zone tickets for a family or group of four plus four shuttle passes and several great discounts at area businesses such as Kiddie Mia’s, Island Fun at the Louisiana Boardwalk, and Shreveport Sports baseball games. The “Family FUN PACK” costs only $150 and the deadline to sign up is July 15, 2007.
