Tickets Purchased As Renewals Have Been Mailed Out

Shreveport, La. – PetroSun Independence Bowl officials announced on Tuesday that all tickets for the game on Thursday, Dec. 28 at Independence Stadium have been shipped via UPS and certified mail.

All game tickets were shipped out by Friday, Oct. 27 and all tickets purchased by Monday, Oct. 23 were also sent. Event order forms were included to all those who renewed their ticket’s from last year and to those customers who placed new orders.

Ticket holders wishing to order tickets to any of the public Bowl Week events are urged to do so as soon as possible by using the event order form provided with their delivered game tickets. Ticket holders may purchase tickets to any of the public events as well as passes for the shuttle bus by filling out the enclosed form and returning it with a credit card number or check to the PetroSun Independence Bowl office. The address is listed on the order form.

PetroSun Independence Bowl officials would like to remind all ticket holders that tickets are sent by either UPS or as Certified Mail and must be signed for. Ticket holders are reminded to keep their tickets in a safe place until gameday, as tickets cannot be replaced once they have been received.

Anyone who renewed their tickets and does not receive them by Friday, Nov. 10 should contact the Bowl Office at 318.221.0712 or 888.414.BOWL. This year’s game matches teams from the Big 12 and Southeastern Conferences. The game will be televised on ESPN and will carry a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
