Stoops Gets Attitude He Was Looking For at Monday's Practice

University of Kentucky football head coach Mark Stoops said after he watched the film from Saturday's practice/scrimmage he didn't think his team was as far along as he thought. Specifically, he did not feel his defense played "with much of an attitude" on Saturday. He got the changes he wanted Monday morning in the team's sixth spring practice.

DISH To Provide SEC Network Nationally For August 14 Debut

ESPN and DISH have reached an agreement for nationwide carriage of the SEC Network on DISH when the multiplatform network launches, August 14, 2014. The deal is part of a larger comprehensive long-term distribution agreement announced by DISH and the Walt Disney Company. DISH is the SEC Network’s first nationwide television provider.

University of Kentucky sports fans can plan to enjoy plenty of baseball, softball and football action on the UK campus during "Big Blue Weekend" April 25-27. The Blue/White Spring Football Game will be held Saturday, April 26, at 3:30 p.m. at Commonwealth Stadium. The Blue/White Game will be conclude spring practice and will be the fans' first look at the 2014 Wildcats. Tickets will be free of charge and a distribution plan will be announced later.
