Duck Commander Independence Bowl Ticket Renewals Mailed Out

Ticket renewal forms for the 2014 Duck Commander Independence Bowl have been mailed out, and ticket holders should receive their renewal forms within the next two weeks.

Ticket renewal forms were mailed out on Wednesday, March 12. Everyone who purchased tickets to the 2013 game will receive a ticket renewal form. Any ticket holder from last year who does not receive a renewal form should call the bowl office at (318) 221-0712 or toll free at (888) 414-BOWL (2695).

The deadline for ticket holders to renew their tickets is May 31, 2014, and everyone who renews tickets before the deadline will receive a voucher for a free souvenir game program at the 2014 Duck Commander Independence Bowl. Ticket holders can also request upgrades, change seats, add seats or donate their tickets to the military or a charitable organization by the renewal deadline.

The date and time for the 2014 Duck Commander Independence Bowl are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Duck Commander Becomes Title Sponsor of the Independence Bowl

Independence Bowl Foundation officials are proud to announce Duck Commander as the new title sponsor of the Independence Bowl, the nation’s 11th oldest bowl game. The game will be known as the Duck Commander Independence Bowl and will be played in Independence Stadium in Shreveport, La., where it was first played to honor America’s bicentennial celebration in 1976.

“The Independence Bowl is proud Duck Commander has agreed to become our new title sponsor,” said current Bowl Chairman, John Hubbard. “Their success has been phenomenal. As we both explored this opportunity, it was clear this national and growing worldwide success could help bring new business relationships to the Independence Bowl and enable us to showcase Louisiana as a Sportsman’s Paradise.”

Bowl officials say the partnership will reinstate “Independence” as part of the bowl’s name following a one-year hiatus.
